The new University of Detroit Mercy Law Clinic Center is located in the remodeled Detroit Fire Department #2 Firehouse, originally built in 1909 at 585 Larned, Detroit. 

• Major project components include comprehensive interior renovations, new windows, exterior renovations, and system upgrades for the historic two-story building.
• Serves as headquarters for the school’s law clinical program that provides pro bono legal services to those in need.
• Earned a LEED Silver Certification. It was also selected by CAM Magazine as a special project featured in the October 2013 Special Issue.

Project value: $1 million.

Wayne State University’s McGregor Reflecting Pool and Sculpture Garden underwent a complete reconstruction. The pool and garden are part of the McGregor Memorial Conference Center designed by Minoru Yamasaki and completed in 1958.

• Project included the removal and salvage of original design elements and materials.
• Complete replacement of pool concrete floor and sides, new filtration system, application of polyuria liner, re-installation of salvaged stone coping, and new landscaping.
• Received three historic awards – Michigan Governor’s Award for Historic Preservation, Michigan Historic Preservation Landscape Award, and the 2014 National Preservation Honor Award.

Project Value: $1.65 million.

The Student Center at the Allen Park Campus of Baker College received an updated, stylish interior remodel.

• Modernized spaces serve as a hub for student engagement activities.
• Remodel includes a cafeteria, self-serve food area, student lounge area, meeting rooms, study rooms, expanded computer area, and reading spaces.
